My latest DIY project: bounce card. Its design takes after some similar product in the market (if you're good enough you'd be able to tell which brand), but the purpose of this card is mainly for outdoor, low-light environments, or for indoor shots with ceilings too high for a bounce flash. BUT, I just found out another use for it. Its interesting light distribution for close-ups was the attention-grabber. Here are some test shots:
Flash angled at 90 degrees
Flash angled at 45 degrees
Notice how the background became less significant when the flash was angled at 45 degrees. Cool huh? Put your creative juices to good use, and you may end up with very interesting shots with this DIY bounce card.
I hereby knight this bounce card "Art Light".
