Lazy days

We stayed in yesterday, as by the time we were all awake, it was already 1pm. Then we got hungry. Domino's was the answer. I must say that their delivery service was rather prompt, delivering the pizzas at around 40 mins, which is, on the average, faster than back at home. Which also means the pizza is fresh and hot! It kinda felt like we were purchasing a Dell computer online when we tried to order the pizza online, because you could customize your own pizza down to each topping, crust and sauce. Singapore pizza branches, wake up!

With lunch settled, we decided to watch a DVD, The Kingdom, before going down to the common room to celebrate the Olympics with the other residents. Part of the celebrations was a Wii Olympics competition, aaaaannnddd, the winner was Team Singapore! It was real fun getting to know some of the other residents during the games. To top it off, we also received a free pizza party, meaning that we could order pizzas anytime and it would be on the house!

Victory!

The Common Room, where all action happened

As if the Wii competition wasn't tiring enough, I continued to play table tennis with a bunch of Saudi Arabians (I think) and this guy called Tablu (pardon me but I don't know how to spell it!) from Mozambique, for something like 3 hours? SO anw, we watched the opening of the Olympics as well, lots of lights, cheering, people, sounds, what not. HD rocks.

The security guard was very friendly too! He even played table tennis with us after his rounds. Random.
